Public Liability Insurance for Pet Businesses

Public Liability covers your legal liability for injury to persons other than employees, and for damage to property, up to a limit of €3,900,000 plus legal costs.

The cover includes;

• compensation for court attendance as a witness, up to €250 per day
• your legal liability arising out of the use of another person’s vehicle for your business purposes if it is not otherwise insured
• liability for damage to premises leased, hired, rented or in your custody or control (excluding the first €250).

Not insured;

• liability for loss of or injury to animals in your care, custody or control
• liability arising out of any products sold or supplied
• breach of professional duty
• liability arising out of asbestos or its derivatives
• terrorism
• the first €250 of each claim for damage to property.
